A colored 3D decal interior set in 1:72 scale from Quinta Studio. It is not a model of an aircraft but a detail accessory for the cockpit. The parts are made by full-color 3D printing with raised, relief detail of the instrument panels, side consoles, levers and switches. The set is meant for models of the two-seat Su-30SM multirole fighter in this scale.
The parts combine the look of a decal with the three-dimensional quality of photo-etch: they are thicker than ordinary decals and carry a relief structure, so the cockpit gains depth and the instruments read well. The Su-30SM has a roomy two-seat cockpit, and the set helps fill it with faithful detail without laborious hand painting.
Release the parts from the backing in water and, once lifted off, fix them with a suitable adhesive, for example a thin layer of gloss varnish, and not with a decal softener. Smooth the underlying surfaces out beforehand. Follow the instructions and place the small parts with tweezers; let the larger panels set properly before you carry on.
This is an interior detail accessory, not a model. The aircraft kit, paints and glue are not included in the package.
