The Zeta Gundam is among the most popular subjects of all and Bandai releases it in several versions, so it is worth comparing the size and the contents of the package before buying.
The MSZ-006 Zeta Gundam is the main mobile suit from the show Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam of the mid-1980s. Its essential feature is the ability to transform into a flight form, in which the machine resembles a wedge-shaped glider. That principle of transformation became one of the main hallmarks of the whole Zeta line and influenced a number of later designs. In kits the transformation is handled in different ways: on some versions it is fully functional, on others only suggested.
Nip the parts off a little from the edge and clean the remainder of the gate up with a knife, so that no white stress marks appear on the edge. Transformable models have many joints, so if you do paint them, mask the joints off, because a layer of paint in them increases friction and a joint may then give way or, on the contrary, stiffen. Pick the engraved lines out with a dark paneliner and even the surfaces out with a matte varnish. If you will be transforming the model often, use dry transfer decals or fix them with varnish, so that they do not rub off on the edges.
The model is supplied unassembled. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
