A resin detail set from Quickboost with the horizontal tail stabilizers for a model of the Sukhoi Su-33 carrier-based fighter in 1:72 scale. The castings have a faithful shape and a fine surface texture that injection-molded plastic struggles to reach. It is an accessory for a kit, not an airplane model in itself.
The Sukhoi Su-33 (NATO reporting name Flanker D) is a carrier-based fighter derived from the Su-27, adapted for operation from an aircraft carrier. The horizontal tail surfaces are among the prominent control surfaces of the aircraft and can be set either neutral or deflected.
Wash the parts to remove the release agent, cut off the casting blocks and bond them with super glue. Check the correct angle and the symmetry of both surfaces before fitting them.
The kit itself and glue are not included in the package.
