MASTER 1:72 Su-33 (Flanker D) - pitot tube is a turned metal probe for an accurate build of a model of the Su-33 carrier fighter in 1:72 scale. An accessory, not a model.
Responsibility details are not available.
A precisely turned metal pitot tube from the Polish brand MASTER replaces the coarser plastic part on a model of the Sukhoi Su-33 carrier fighter (NATO reporting name Flanker-D) in 1:72 scale. The metal probe is accurately shaped, tough and gives the nose a sharp, realistic look. It is not an aircraft model - it is a small but conspicuous detail accessory.
The pitot tube is among the most exposed and most fragile elements on the nose. A metal replacement survives handling of the model and looks more convincing than thicker plastic. Small spacer rings for precise seating and for setting the right angle are usually included, normally with one spare.
Drill a hole of matching diameter where the plastic part was, slide the probe in and fix it with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Watch the correct angle and alignment with the fuselage. Degrease the metal before painting and spray it with primer so the paint adheres better.
This is a metal detail accessory, not an aircraft model. Glue and paints are not included in the package.
