An injection-molded plastic kit of the Russian Sukhoi Su-34 fighter-bomber in 1:72 scale from the manufacturer Trumpeter. The model captures the characteristic twin-engine combat aircraft with a two-seat cockpit arranged side by side and with canards. The Su-34 is a Russian multirole fighter-bomber developed from the airframe of the Su-27 series of heavy fighters. It was powered by two jet engines and the machine is intended for attacks on ground targets at long range and in unfavorable weather as well. A particular feature is the spacious armored cockpit with the seats side by side, which the crew enters from below. The aircraft carries a wide range of guided and unguided armament on pylons under the wings and the fuselage.
Cut the parts from the sprues and glue the clean joints with liquid modeling cement for plastic. Glue the glazing of the cockpit carefully with canopy glue so that the plastic does not fog, and paint and accentuate the cockpit before closing the fuselage up. Apply a gloss varnish before the decals; complement the modern Russian schemes of gray shades, once the decals are on, with a wash of the panel lines and fine wear applied with an airbrush.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
