1:72 Sukhoi Su-57 Frazor DIGITAL CAMOUFLAGE kabuki masks

Sukhoi Su-57 Frazor DIGITAL CAMOUFLAGE kabuki masks 1:72

A set of self-adhesive spray masks of Japanese kabuki tape (washi). This is not a model or decals but an aid for an airbrush, which makes it possible to lay the characteristic digital camouflage scheme of the Su-57 down with sharp edges and without the laborious cutting out of the individual fields. The masks are die-cut to shape and fit plastic models of the Su-57 in this scale precisely.

The real subject

The Sukhoi Su-57 is a Russian twin-engine fifth-generation fighter with features of reduced radar visibility. Prototypes as well as series machines have appeared in experimental digital (pixel) camouflages, masking which by hand is time-consuming and a clean result is hard to achieve.

How to work with the masks

• First spray the model with the base (lighter) color of the scheme.
• Once dry, apply the individual masks according to the enclosed instructions.
• Spray over them with the darker shade and take the masks off carefully.
• Kabuki tape shapes well over panels and rounded areas and leaves no adhesive behind.

Who the set is for

• Modelers building the Su-57 in 1:72 scale who want a faithful digital scheme.
• Those who prefer spraying to a camouflage made of decals.
• More advanced builders used to working with an airbrush.

The package contains masks only. The model, paints and glue are not included.
