Quickboost 1:72 Sukhoi Su-7 Radome is a resin radar cover part for a model of the Soviet Su-7 fighter-bomber.
Responsibility details are not available.
This resin part from the Quickboost brand, made by the Czech manufacturer Aires, brings a faithfully cast radome (radar cover) for a model of the Soviet Sukhoi Su-7 fighter-bomber in 1:72 scale. It is not an airplane model but a detail accessory for more experienced modelers, which replaces the simplified plastic part with a sharp and more accurately shaped casting.
The Sukhoi Su-7 was a Soviet single-engine fighter-bomber of the Cold War era with a swept wing and a circular nose air intake, in whose center cone the radar equipment was housed. It served mainly for attacks on ground targets and was exported to a number of friendly states. The radar cover in the nose is a clearly visible detail on the model.
First wash the casting in lukewarm soapy water to remove mold release residue. Cut the casting block off with a saw and sand the cut surface with your airways protected. Bond the part with super glue (cyanoacrylate), not with plastic cement. Expect a little filling at the transition into the air intake; try the fit dry before painting.
The set is supplied as a resin part, unassembled and unpainted. It is not an airplane model but an accessory for a plastic kit. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
