A resin, 3D-printed insert for the inner structure of the cockpit for models of the early Supermarine Spitfire Mk.I in 1:72 scale by IBG Models. It reproduces faithfully the tube frame, the bulkheads and the cockpit frames that the simpler parts of ordinary kits only hint at. It is not an aircraft model but a refining accessory that raises the fidelity of the interior.

Use

• Separate the parts from the print support and clean up the mating surfaces.
• Seat the insert in the fuselage before the halves are glued together, and check the fit dry.
• Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue).
• Paint the interior and bring it up with a wash, so that the structure of the frames stands out.
