Responsibility details are not available.
This injection-molded plastic kit from UM in 1:72 scale represents a German railway carrier car together with the Pz.Kpfw 38(t) light tank. The set holds plastic parts for the carrier car and for the tank itself plus extra photo-etched parts.
German armored trains made use of special carrier cars on which they transported light tanks. The Pz.Kpfw 38(t) tank, originally a Czechoslovak design, could run off the car down a loading ramp and operate on its own away from the track as a reconnaissance or combat vehicle. This arrangement gave the armored train mobility off the railway as well. A carrier car and a tank together were a common part of German armored trains of the Second World War.
Assemble the carrier car and the tank separately, and on the tank finish the running gear and the tracks before you close the hull. The loading ramp makes an interesting feature. Use liquid cement on the plastic; we recommend a primer, an airbrush and weathering with washes and pigments. The pair comes into its own in a diorama with track.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
