In the postwar decades Cuba operated hardware acquired from the United States and from Britain. The Sherman in the M4A3E8 version was among the most capable versions of this tank, the British Comet was a fast cruiser tank of the late war, the Staghound and the Greyhound are armored cars intended for reconnaissance, the M3A1 SC is an open scout car and the M3A1 Stuart a light tank. For a modeler it is an unusual combination, because the same machines elsewhere carried entirely different insignia. The mix of types moreover tempts you into a display cabinet pairing of a tracked and a wheeled vehicle.
A thin layer of water stays under a decal and, with it, air bubbles. Lay a piece of absorbent paper onto the seated membrane and push the water out with gentle pressure in the direction from the center toward the edges. Running it back and forth will shift the markings, so press straight down. As soon as it is dry under the decal, the drawing is drawn down to the shade of the base and does not ripple.
