A kit of the Polish two-wheeled cart wz. 33 with the 81 mm mortar wz. 31 in 1:72 scale. A small item for a diorama and a display case.
Responsibility details are not available.
The word biedka denotes a light two-wheeled cart in Polish. The wz. 33 version served to carry the 81 mm mortar wz. 31 and its ammunition, so the crew did not have to carry the heavy parts. The mortar was carried broken down into the barrel, the bipod and the baseplate, which is the usual solution with weapons of this kind.
This kit in 1:72 scale joins the cart with the weapon, that is a pair that is usually built together. It suits a diorama of an infantry unit, horse-drawn transport, and also a small object on its own in a display case, where it stands out precisely because it is a piece of equipment you will not find in an ordinary range.
The parts are small in this scale, so dry-fit them before gluing and only then join them. Use cement for plastic kits on the plastic parts and reach for cyanoacrylate glue on any metal parts. The wheels and the underside of the cart are better painted separately, while they are accessible from all sides. Once painted, darker accentuation of the joints and a light dusting of the running gear help, so that the cart does not look freshly made.
The set will please modelers who build interwar and early wartime vehicles and are looking for an addition to their infantry. Paints, glue and figures are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
