A set of unpainted plastic figures in 1:72 scale from the Italian maker Italeri. The package holds both foot warriors and mounted riders in several poses. The figures are meant to be separated from the sprue, assembled and painted.
The set depicts medieval knights and infantry of the end of the 11th century, the period associated with the First Crusade and the capture of Jerusalem in 1099. The knights are shown as heavy cavalry in mail armor with large kite shields; the foot warriors carry swords, axes, maces and spears.
Separate the figures from the sprue carefully and clean up the mold lines. Cement for plastic suits the gluing, and cyanoacrylate glue helps at the rider-to-horse joints. Lay down a primer before painting; bring out the mail armor with a metallic paint and a dry brush, and the shields allow colorful heraldic schemes.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
