Tornado IDS 45+88, 100,000 hours of JaBoG 33 (1:72) is a sheet of wet decals from Syhart Decal for the celebration of 100,000 flight hours of the German Tornado wing at Buchel.
Responsibility details are not available.
The sheet of wet decals from the French maker Syhart Decal reproduces the commemorative scheme of the German Panavia Tornado IDS combat aircraft (serial 45+88), which in 1999 at the Buchel base was celebrating 100,000 flight hours of the JaBoG 33 formation. The package contains a decal sheet and color instructions. It is an accessory to a plastic kit, not a model aircraft.
The Panavia Tornado IDS is a two-seat combat aircraft with a variable-geometry wing, developed in cooperation between Germany, Great Britain and Italy. The IDS version was intended for attacks on ground targets in all weathers. The JaBoG 33 formation (later Taktisches Luftwaffengeschwader 33) was based at Buchel; for the anniversary of the flight hours one of its machines received striking commemorative markings.
Apply the small decals in 1:72 in smaller groups onto a smooth gloss varnish, with a softener for settling into engraved lines and onto curved surfaces. Fix the finished markings with a transparent varnish according to the sheen wanted.
This is a decal set, not a kit. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
