This resin (3D-printed) detail set replaces the landing gear wheels on models of the supersonic Tu-22 bomber in 1:72 scale. The wheels are rendered with a fine relief on the tire and the hub; they are often made with a realistic flattening at the contact patch (weighted wheels), which gives the model a convincing stance. This is an accessory, not an aircraft model.
The Tu-22 was a Soviet supersonic bomber and reconnaissance aircraft of the Cold War with its characteristic arrangement of the engines at the root of the vertical tail. The landing gear with its multi-wheel bogies is one of its striking details.
Wash the wheels, separate them from the blocks and clean them up. They are bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Take care that the flattening is oriented correctly toward the ground. Protect your airways when sanding.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted; glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
