A tubular bench in 1:72 scale is a stand-alone object of a scene for a diorama. The classic furniture of parks, stations and housing estate yards.
Responsibility details are not available.
The subject is a bench with a supporting structure of steel tubes and wooden slats, of the kind that stands in parks, at stations, by offices and between apartment blocks. It comes as a stand-alone scenic prop for a diorama, not as a part of a particular model. It is a small thing that gives a scene a human dimension even when nobody is sitting on it.
Benches are among the elements that turn a bare base into a place. They work in a town as well as a rural scene, at a station building, in front of a workshop and in a barracks support area, and they are also rewarding as a prop for a composition, because a figure or gear set aside is naturally placed beside them. The form of tubular furniture changes slowly, so it suits scenes from the middle of the 20th century to the present day.
After removing the sprue gate remnants, check whether the bench stands on all its legs; level any uneven seating by sanding. Small parts are reliably held by cyanoacrylate glue. Build the painting on the contrast of a dark metal structure and lighter wood, and the slats deserve slightly different shades so that they do not look like one piece. Suggest the wear of the paint thinly on the edges of the seat and the back, and dust the lower parts of the legs in the shade of the terrain. Use a wash sparingly, so that the gaps between the slats are not flooded in 1:72.
The accessory is supplied unpainted, as a part for a diorama. Paints, glue and a base are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
