A detailed injection-molded plastic kit of the Japanese Type 95 Ha-Go light tank in 1:72 scale from the Polish manufacturer IBG Models. This version represents the command form fitted with a shortwave radio, whose characteristic feature is the frame antenna around the turret. The package contains photo-etched parts and decals for two marking options.
The Type 95 Ha-Go was the most widespread Japanese tank of the Second World War; it was designed by Mitsubishi in the mid-1930s and over two thousand were built. It was armed with a 37 mm gun and used on a number of fronts in the Pacific and in Asia. Vehicles with a radio served as command tanks and were fairly rare among the Japanese vehicles of the day.
This is a small but richly detailed kit with fine parts, so work with a sharp knife and liquid cement for plastic, and glue the photo-etched parts with super glue. Finish the running gear assembly and the frame antenna before the final painting. Washes and pigments for mud and dust effects suit the patina.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
