A display base for a 1:72 model with the Ukrainian flag came about by printing an acrylic board 3 mm thick with an area of 280 x 180 mm. It offers a flat base under finished hardware.

Blue above yellow, two horizontal stripes of equal width across the whole printed area: that is the simplest possible motif and at the same time one of the most effective. The carrier is acrylic glass 3 mm thick, 280 x 180 mm in size and 170 g in weight. The manufacturer is the Ukrainian brand Kelik.
The pair of colors tends to be read as sky above a ripe field of grain, and in this form it has been in use since 1918, with a return to the state symbols at the start of the 1990s. Dividing the area exactly in half creates a striking horizontal break under the model.
The light lower stripe underlines a darker camouflage, so machines such as the MiG-29, the Su-25 or the L-39 Albatros trainer stand out on the board. We recommend placing the hardware rather on the boundary of the two bands, because a model stood in one half alone optically veers to the side. By the shorter edge there is room enough for a plate with the unit designation. For cleaning a damp cloth without abrasive pastes is enough.
Prepare the built model yourself; the board comes without one.
