1:72 V-1 Flying Bomb Aces Part 4

Print Scale V-1 Flying Bomb Aces (Part 4) 1:72, decals

The fourth part of the decal series from Print Scale in 1:72 scale, focused on the theme of the fight against the German V-1 flying bombs. The sheet offers the markings and personal emblems of Allied fighters whose pilots intercepted and destroyed these missiles. The decals have sharp artwork and rich colors and are meant to complete plastic aircraft kits of the matching scale.

The theme

The V-1 flying bomb was a German pulsejet guided missile deployed from 1944. Allied fighter squadrons sent fast aircraft against it, which caught the missile up and shot it down with gunfire or tipped it off course with a wing. The Print Scale series gradually maps the pilots and machines that stood out in this defense.

Use

• Give the area of the model a gloss clear coat for a clean settling of the decal.
• Dip the decal briefly, move it off the backing into place and blot the water away.
• Use a decal softener so that it settles even on a broken surface.
• Finally seal it with a matte or semi-gloss clear coat.
