Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the early British jet fighter de Havilland DH.100 Vampire in the Mk.I version in 1:72 scale from the Czech manufacturer Special Hobby. The package contains plastic sprues, photo-etched parts and a decal sheet with several international markings. The twin-boom tail and the short nacelle fuselage are characteristic.
The Vampire was one of the first jet fighters of the British air force. It was powered by a de Havilland Goblin jet engine and thanks to its twin-boom tail with a short central nacelle it gained an unmistakable look. It entered service at the close of the 1940s and in various versions it was used by a number of countries all over the world.
The short-run tooling calls for cleaning the parts up and for dry-fitting. Use thin cement on the plastic and attach the photo-etch with super glue. Finish the cockpit before closing the nacelle. Before the decals we recommend a gloss varnish, and an airbrush for the metal and period finishes.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
