CMK 1:72 Vampire T.11 – an interior set is a resin accessory for sharpening the cockpit of the de Havilland Vampire T.11 jet trainer in 1:72 scale. It is not a model but a detail set. The accessory aims at the Airfix kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin detail set from the Czech maker CMK intended for improving the cockpit of a model of the trainer version of the de Havilland Vampire T.11 in 1:72 scale. It is not an aircraft kit but a set of parts: a completely new cockpit with a floor, sidewalls, Martin-Baker Mk.3B ejection seats, an instrument panel and further details; color etched parts tend to be included as well.
The de Havilland Vampire was one of the first British jet fighters. The two-seat T.11 trainer version served for training pilots and had side-by-side seating. A two-seat cockpit is clearly visible on a build and deserves a detailed treatment.
Wash the resin parts clean of the mold release agent, cut the casting blocks off and sand the surfaces with respiratory protection. It is glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Paint the interior and pick it out with a wash before closing up the fuselage; fix the color etched parts with super glue.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base Airfix kit are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
