The Vautour IIB MASK 1:72 is a set of pre-cut masking templates for covering the glazing and other areas of a model during spraying. It is neither a kit nor a part of a model.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a masking set from Special Mask made for a model of the Vautour IIB aircraft in 1:72 scale. You will find no part of a model and no paints in the package: these are ready-made templates cut to shape that are stuck onto the areas which are to stay untouched during spraying. Typically that means the frames of the canopy glazing, where masking by hand with tape costs the most time and goes wrong most often.
The Vautour was a French twin-jet aircraft of the 1950s, built in three basic versions that differed in the nose and the crew. The IIB version was the bomber and had a glazed nose for the second crew member. Besides the French Air Force, the machines were also operated by the Israeli Air Force.
For modelers who want sharp transitions on the canopy frames without lengthy cutting of tape, and for anyone building the Vautour in this scale who would rather not risk scratching the clear parts. Even a beginner can work with a mask; the benefit is felt above all by anyone finishing a model with an airbrush.
The package contains no model, no paints and no glue. Check that the set matches your particular kit before buying.
