Model of the British twin-engine bomber Vickers Wellington Mk.IA/C in 1:72 scale. A kit to be glued and painted.
The Wellington was a British night bomber of the Second World War with a characteristic geodetic fuselage structure designed by Barnes Wallis, which gave it exceptional resistance to damage. It was powered by Bristol Pegasus radial engines; the Mk.IC version was the main early production variant and the backbone of Bomber Command in the opening years of the war.
Build the model in subassemblies and test the fit of the parts dry before gluing. Paint the cockpit and the interior and bring them out with a wash before closing the fuselage. For the best result use a quality liquid polystyrene cement, fine files and, after the primer coat, an airbrush. Apply the decals onto a gloss varnish and seal them with a flat one.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
