Vought F4U-2 Corsair night fighter radar conversion 1:72 is a complete resin set from AML for building the night version with a radar out of the Hasegawa kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set is a complete resin conversion accessory for the kits of the Vought Corsair carrier fighter from Hasegawa in 1:72 scale. It makes it possible to build the night fighter version F4U-2 fitted with a radar in a pod on the right wing. The maker is the Czech company AML.
The F4U-2 was the first night fighter Corsair, converted from production machines to carry a radar. It flew from land bases as well as from decks and was among the pioneers of night naval fighting in the Second World War.
Wash the mold release agent off the resin parts and cut off the casting blocks. Glue the radar pod with super glue and seat it on the wing exactly. Apply a primer before painting and build up the dark night scheme in thin coats.
This is an accessory, not a complete model. The Hasegawa base kit, the glue and the paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
