This add-on set from the maker IBG brings finely rendered landing gear bays for models of the Focke-Wulf Fw 190D in 1:72 scale. The parts are made by direct 3D printing and are designed to fit easily into Fw 190D models of this range. It is not an aircraft kit but an improvement of the interior of the wing.
The Focke-Wulf Fw 190D, nicknamed Dora, was the version of the Fw 190 fighter powered by a high-altitude inverted V12 Junkers Jumo engine, with a lengthened nose and rear fuselage. It was used in the final phase of the Second World War and is one of the most sought-after subjects among modelers of the Luftwaffe.
Wash the parts, separate them from the print supports and glue them in with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). The inside of the bays is usually sprayed light gray, and the ribs, lines and rivets are brought out with a wash and a dry brush. Protect your airways while sanding.
This is an accessory to a build, not a complete model. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
