The accessory is a printed paper sheet, not a resin casting. According to the name it holds 70 scaled-down posters whose motifs are based on period propaganda posters of both the German and the Allied side of the First World War. The sheet is meant for scenes in 1:72 scale, where the individual posters are genuinely tiny, but more of them fit onto an area and they look more believable than painted substitutes.
In 1:72 scale background detail is harder to come by than in the larger scales: what can be painted with a brush in 1:35 is too small here. Printed posters get round that problem, because printing manages detail that the hand cannot. Stuck onto the wall of a house, onto a fence or onto a post, they give a scene both period and place. Seventy pieces on the sheet are a supply that lasts a long time and let you pick only the motifs that suit the scene.
In this scale precision of cutting is essential. Use a scalpel with a completely new blade, a metal ruler and a magnifier, or cut under greater magnification. Fine-tipped tweezers come in handy for handling them, as fingers are unusable at such a small size. They are stuck down with thinned PVA glue applied on the tip of a toothpick; the paper is laid on with tweezers and pressed down. A wash or pronounced damage mostly makes no sense here, because it is lost at this scale, and a matte coat to even the sheen out is enough. Allow for the first few pieces not working out, which is why it is good that the sheet offers a large number of them.
