The Yakovlev Yak-210 1:72 is an injection-molded plastic kit of the Soviet experimental trainer from the Ukrainian manufacturer Amodel.
Responsibility details are not available.
The kit in 1:72 scale captures the little known prototype Yak-210, a version derived from the Yak-200 aircraft for the training of navigators. It is an injection-molded plastic model of the Ukrainian brand Amodel; the package contains sprues with parts in gray plastic, a clear part and a decal sheet with the instructions.
The Yak-210 came into being as a navigator trainer variant on the basis of the flight tests of the Yak-200 machine and received additional equipment in the navigator's station, including a radar sight and a camera. Neither the Yak-200 nor the Yak-210 saw series production, because the Soviet air force gave preference to the jet-powered Ilyushin Il-28U. It is therefore an interesting addition to a collection of Soviet experimental machines.
The kit is short-run with no classic locating pins, so reckon with test-fitting and cleaning the parts up. Glue with thin plastic cement, fill the joints and sand them down. Apply a primer before the covering finish; deal with the small parts and the cockpit canopy only at the end of the build.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
