A photo-etched detail set for the 1:72 Mitsubishi A6M3 Model 22 is an accessory to a kit you have already bought, not an aircraft model. The metal parts mainly refine the cockpit interior.
Responsibility details are not available.
The package holds photo-etched metal parts for a model of the Japanese carrier fighter in the Model 22 version in the Tamiya kit. The aircraft model is not included; it is an accessory for a builder who already has the kit. It is made by the Czech company Brengun.
The Model 22 designation belongs to one of the versions of the A6M fighter, which differ from one another in the shape of the wingtips and in their internal layout. The individual versions therefore cannot be interchanged and an accessory set is always cut for one particular one. The cockpit of these machines is clearly visible under its well-glazed canopy, so detail in it really does come into its own on a finished model.
The etched sheet is supplied on a single fret; separate the parts from it with a scalpel pressed down vertically, not with a twisting motion. Once the tab is sanded down, degrease the metal with alcohol. The interior colors of Japanese machines vary considerably, so go by documentation for the particular machine and apply the paint only over a primer, otherwise it will rub off during further handling. Let the seat belts ripple softly, as a stiff flat strap gives away that it is metal. Glue the assembly in small stages and always try the fit without glue first, because with super glue once it has set there is no second attempt.
This is an accessory, not a model. The kit, paints and glue are not included in the package.
