A resin engine detail set in 1:72 for a model of the heavy MH-53E Sea Dragon helicopter. It raises the realism of the engine nacelles and goes in place of the simplified plastic parts of the kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a resin accessory set from the manufacturer Black Dog in 1:72 scale. It is NOT a helicopter model but a detail set meant to be fitted into a plastic kit of the heavy MH-53E Sea Dragon mine countermeasures helicopter. The castings are fine and add a faithful rendition of the engine sections, which a plastic mold as a rule simplifies.
The MH-53E Sea Dragon is an American heavy navy helicopter derived from the CH-53 line. It serves above all for airborne mine countermeasures and for carrying heavy loads. Its three engines and large side tanks are characteristic, and thanks to them it is one of the largest helicopters of Western manufacture.
First wash the mold release residue off the parts, carefully cut off the casting blocks and sand them with respiratory protection. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). We recommend a base of primer and then shading of the engine areas with washes and pigments to bring the detail out.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted, as a resin detail set. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
