A resin kit in the railroad scale of 1:87 (HO) from the Czech maker Hauler. The model captures the American military jeep converted to run on rails. It is a small casting for experienced modelers that suits dioramas and a model railroad as an accessory.
The light off-road jeep was fitted with rail wheels and converted to run on the railroad during and after the Second World War. Vehicles rebuilt this way served for inspecting track, for small transport jobs and for moving around the rail network where it paid to use the existing lines. The combination of a familiar vehicle and a railroad conversion is a rewarding subject for modelers.
Before building, wash the mold release residue off the parts, carefully cut off the casting blocks and sand the surface as needed, with respiratory protection. Glue the parts with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Apply a primer before painting and spray the colors with an airbrush; pick out the small detail with a brush and tune the weathering with washes and pigments.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted as a resin kit. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
