Panzerfausts with crates in 1:87 scale. Small armament and cargo for models of German equipment and for layouts in this scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Panzerfaust was a German single-use antitank weapon from the end of the Second World War. It was formed by a thin launching tube and a fitted warhead of larger diameter with a shaped charge, which burned through armor with a concentrated jet of metal. The weapon worked without recoil, because the gases went out to the rear; nobody was allowed to stand behind the firer therefore. The individual forms differed in range and the number in their designation gave the effective distance in meters. They were produced in enormous numbers and were put into the hands even of soldiers without special training. They were stored and transported in wooden crates that belong to them as inseparably as to ammunition.
Weapons and crates in 1:87 scale, that is in the size common on layouts. A Panzerfaust in this scale measures a little over one centimeter, so these are parts that are positioned with tweezers. They suit leaned against a wall, laid on the cargo bed of a vehicle or stacked by a trench.
Work over a mat with a raised edge and take the parts with tweezers with a fine tip. Cut the excess material away with a sharp blade a little away from the part, sand the remainder and wash and degrease the surface. Apply the color thinly, so that it does not flood the shape: a darker base, the warhead a shade different and a light drawing out of the edges on the crates is enough for the small item to be noticed on a model.
For modelers of small scales and for builders of layouts who want to complete a scene with credible armament. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
