Shrink tube 2.0 mm, blue, Top Studio

This is a heat-shrink tube 2.0 mm in diameter in blue. It is not a kit but a material for detailing. Once heated, the tube contracts and grips the wire or hose firmly, so it convincingly imitates cable end fittings, connectors, banjo unions and color-coded runs.

Use

  • End fittings and connectors for cables and hoses on models of motorcycles, cars and aircraft.
  • Color coding of the individual runs in the engine bay.
  • It slides onto a wire or tube and shrinks with gentle heat.
  • It combines with lead wire or flexible tubing for a convincing look to the wiring.

Who it is for

For modelers who build realistic wiring and want convincing, color-coded end fittings. Blue is particularly useful for telling circuits and coolant lines apart.

Apply the heat for shrinking carefully and away from plastic parts, which could deform. Keep out of the reach of children.
