32nd SS Volunteer Grenadier Division Plaque 25mm is a small plaque 25 mm in size with a divisional emblem from Dynamo-Models. It serves to mark the base of a diorama permanently; it is not a kit.

This item is an accessory for a diorama, not a model. The plaque 25 mm in size carries the badge of the formation from the name and is fitted to a base, into the frame of a display case or onto the front edge of a base. For a modeler it is a way to give a scene the final piece of information that only an expert would read from the figures and the vehicles: who is portrayed in the diorama. The small size does not compete with the scene itself and lets the model stand out.
The 32nd SS-Freiwilligen-Grenadier-Division was raised only in the first weeks of 1945, mainly from training and replacement units, and from February of that year it was committed on the Oder front southeast of Berlin. Like most formations set up in the last months of the war it had neither full strength nor full equipment and its existence lasted only a few weeks. A scene with this designation therefore belongs to the spring of 1945 and will take even heavily worn vehicles and mismatched equipment.
Fit the plaque at the very end, after the surface of the base is finished. Mark the axis and the height in pencil beforehand, so that the badge is not offset against the center of gravity of the scene. Matte varnish on the base around the plaque will prevent the reflections that easily swallow a small design on glossy surfaces. If you use toning on the plaque, start with a dark shade in the hollows and leave the light one for the edges alone. Remove fingerprints before you fix the surface with varnish.
