A Soviet antenna mount with rods is a metal and resin accessory in 1:35 for models of early Soviet armored vehicles.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is an accessory, a set of antenna mounts for early Soviet armored vehicles in 1:35 scale, not a vehicle model. The set combines a resin base, a turned metal mount and metal antenna rods, so what results is a truer and far more durable antenna than the brittle plastic one from the box.
Antenna mounts of this type were fitted to Soviet fighting vehicles of the early period of the Second World War. The metal rods stand up to handling the model better than plastic parts, which break easily, and they look markedly finer in scale.
Wash the resin base free of any mold release residue and clean up the casting blocks. Bond the parts with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Apply a primer before painting, so that the paint holds on metal as well as on resin. It is a good idea to add the thin antenna rods at the end of the build, so that they do not get in the way while handling it.
This is a stand-alone accessory. The vehicle kit itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
