This item is a printed publication, not a model or a kit. It came out as the sixth volume of the ARMADA series of the Czech publisher Jakab Publishing, which has long devoted itself to the history of Czechoslovak aviation and the ground army. The subject is the final exercise, that is, the large autumn maneuvers of the Czechoslovak armed forces held in 1929 in the Hana and Kromeriz area. The extent, the format and the number of illustrations are stated in the imprint and on the cover of the book.
Large military exercises in the 1920s were a review of what an army actually had at its disposal. For builders of models of interwar equipment they are therefore a rewarding source of subjects: they show what units looked like in the field, what equipment moved together and how the machines of the day were combined with horse teams. Publications of this kind tend to be valuable above all for their period photographs, which are more usable for a faithful color scheme and for building a vignette than any later reconstruction.
It will be appreciated by those interested in the history of the Czechoslovak army between the world wars, collectors of the ARMADA series, modelers of interwar equipment looking for reference and readers with a connection to the region of central Moravia. The book is written in Czech.
