Warrior bishop, second half of the 13th century: 75 mm is a resin figure from the Polish maker PANZER ART showing an armed churchman.
Responsibility details are not available.
A collector's resin figure 75 mm tall from the Polish maker PANZER ART. It shows an armed bishop, a warrior bishop, of the second half of the 13th century. It is an unusual figure for collectors and figure painters, not a vehicle kit.
The figure joins secular armor to the insignia of the church. The body is protected by a mail hauberk reaching to the knees and a period mail coif, over which a tall miter is set; he holds a crozier in his hand. This type of fighting prelate reflects the reality of the high Middle Ages, when senior churchmen also appeared as military commanders.
Wash the resin parts clean of mold release agent, cut off the casting blocks and clean up the mold seams; sand with respiratory protection. It is glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). The miter and the liturgical elements offer room for fine painting and gilding, mail is brought out with a dry brush, and the face with oil paints.
The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted, in resin. Glue, paints and a base are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
