Revell Email Color 06 Tar Black

A synthetic enamel (solvent-based) modeling paint in a tar black, deeply dark shade with a matte finish. It comes in a 14 ml metal tin. The paint covers well and forms a firm, durable film on plastic and metal. It is thinned with Revell Color Mix or with enamel thinner, and under no circumstances with water.

Use

• It is applied with a brush and with an airbrush once thinned with enamel thinner.
• Tar black suits tires, running gear, scorch effects and dark details.
• A further coat or decals can usually be applied after 4 to 6 hours, and it is fully cured after 24 hours.
• The matte surface creates no reflections and works well on realistic models.

For modelers of aircraft, equipment and cars who need a saturated matte black in a durable enamel quality.

A solvent-based enamel paint. It is flammable, so use it in a ventilated area away from open flame. Do not apply a lacquer (nitro) clear coat over enamel.
