Responsibility details are not available.
Injection-molded plastic kit of the German Heinkel He 111 medium bomber in the H-6 variant in the small 1:144 scale from the Ukrainian manufacturer Roden. Despite its small size the model carries faithful shapes of the fuselage with its glazed nose and clearly laid out sprues. A decal with the markings of a combat unit is included. The small scale will be appreciated by collectors of aircraft for a display case and by modelers with limited room.
The He 111 was one of the main German medium bombers of the Second World War, used from the fighting over Spain through the Battle of Britain to the Eastern Front. Its fully glazed nose and cigar-shaped fuselage were characteristic. The H-6 variant was among the most widespread, received more powerful engines and heavier armament; some machines could also carry torpedoes for attacks on shipping.
In 1:144 scale the parts are small, so work with a sharp knife and tweezers and glue the joints with thin cement in small amounts. It is worth masking the glazed nose; ready-cut masks work well. Paint with an airbrush in thin coats so that the fine detail is not flooded, and pick the fine lines out with a light panel wash.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
