KFK Kriegsfischkutter 1:144 (ICM) is an injection-molded plastic kit of the German multi-purpose boat of the Second World War in a small scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
This plastic kit in 1:144 scale from ICM captures the German multi-purpose war boat of the Kriegsfischkutter (KFK) type. The small scale makes it a compact model suited to a display case; even so it reproduces the characteristic hull, the deckhouse and the armament of the vessel.
The Kriegsfischkutter was created at the turn of 1941 and 1942 on the basis of a fishing cutter and became a universal vessel of the Kriegsmarine. After small modifications it served as a patrol boat, a submarine chaser and a minesweeper. It was one of the most numerous series of vessels of German production, built at a number of shipyards.
In a small scale, clean joints and fine painting show. We recommend painting the hull and the deck separately, spraying the small parts with a base color and gluing them with liquid cement for plastic. Apply the base shades with an airbrush and bring out the panel and plank lines of the deck with a gentle wash. The model looks good set on a stand or in a simple water diorama.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
