An injection-molded plastic figure of a sergeant of the US Marine Corps in the large 1:16 scale from ICM. The package holds the parts for assembling one figure, including a display base. The large scale makes it possible to work the uniform, the gear and the expression of the face out in detail, which makes it a rewarding subject for figure painters.
The US Marine Corps is among the elite components of the armed forces of the United States. A sergeant, as a non-commissioned officer, commands a squad and takes care of training and leading the men. The figure captures a typical uniform and gear and suits anyone who wants to recall the tradition and appearance of this corps.
Cut the parts from the sprues, clean up the mold seams and glue them with cement for plastic. In the large scale the smooth transitions of color on the uniform and on the skin stand out, so it pays to paint in layers, bring out the edges with a dry brush and shade the folds with a wash. Work the face with particular care, as it matters most to the eye.
The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
