ICM 1:24 American sport car drivers (1910s), 1 male and 1 female is a set of two injection-molded plastic period figures.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set of two injection-molded plastic figures in 1:24 scale captures a period couple, a man and a woman in the dress of the early 20th century, when motor sport was being born. The figures complete models of veteran cars and scenes from the era of the beginnings of motoring and give them life and the atmosphere of the period.
The early years of the second decade of the 20th century were the period of early motoring, when a drive in a car was a social as well as a sporting event. The dress of the day, with its long coats, caps, goggles and hats, is characteristic of this period. The figures capture both the elegance and the practicality of motoring dress at the time.
Clean the parts up and bond them with liquid cement for plastic. When painting, go for faithful period colors for the clothing; bring out the flesh areas with glazes and light dry-brushing. A matte varnish will even out the fabrics, and small accessories such as the goggles or the buttons can be livened up with accents.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
