This injection-molded plastic kit in 1:24 scale from the Japanese brand Hasegawa captures the Toyota Celica Turbo 4WD in the winning form from the Catalunya rally of the 1994 season. The body parts are molded in white and the package contains decals for the sponsor livery of the rally car.
The Celica Turbo 4WD was Toyota's works rally weapon in the World Rally Championship of the first half of the 1990s. It was powered by a turbocharged four-cylinder engine with all-wheel drive; with it the team gathered victories in individual events and in the fight for the manufacturers' world title alike.
A white body is a rewarding base for a colorful rally livery. Spray a primer, lay the paint down with an airbrush and use gloss varnish under the decals, so that they blend in without visible edges. Mud and dust effects on the underside of the car give the model an authentic touch.
