Injection-molded plastic kit of the classic German Bücker Bü 131B Jungmann training biplane in 1:32 scale from ICM. The set offers a suggested fabric-covered effect, a well worked tandem cockpit, transparent instrument panels and windshields, a detailed engine with an optional cowling and fixed landing gear.
The Bü 131 Jungmann was the first production type from the Bücker company – a light two-seat training biplane. The Bü 131B version received a more powerful engine and was used intensively in civilian flying schools and by the Luftwaffe for basic pilot training.
Finish and paint the cockpit interior and the engine before you close up the fuselage. The fabric-covered effect comes into its own once a base coat is down and the shadows are lightly picked out. On a biplane the precise seating of the struts and the bracing is the key point – help yourself with a jig and glue patiently. Even the gloss surfaces under the decals out with a clear coat.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
