The Messerschmitt Bf 109 was among the most important fighter aircraft of the Second World War and was the backbone of the German fighter force throughout the conflict. The G-10 version represents one of the last and most powerful variants of the Gustav; it arose at the end of the war with the aim of achieving maximum performance while keeping the possibility of mass production. It was powered by an engine of the DB 605 series and was distinguished by a number of aerodynamic refinements over the earlier Gustavs.
Cut the parts from the sprues and glue them with a thin modeling cement for plastic. Paint and accent the detailed cockpit before closing the fuselage, and mask the clear Erla Haube while spraying. Apply a primer and the paints with an airbrush, and after a gloss coat apply the decals. Late machines often carried mottled camouflage, so accent the panel lines with a wash and add wear appropriate to the end of the war.
