Pilots of the Soviet Air Force 1943-1945 in 1:32 scale is a set of plastic figures of Soviet airmen of the Second World War from ICM.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set of injection-molded plastic figures captures members of the Soviet Air Force from the period 1943 to 1945 in 1:32 scale. It is not a model of an aircraft but a set of accessory figures with which you bring a diorama to life, or which you place beside a model of a fighter or a bomber in the matching scale. The figures are in natural poses and suit the making of an airfield scene.
In the second half of the Second World War the Soviet Air Force moved to more modern types of aircraft and its pilots wore characteristic leather and cloth flying suits, helmets and life vests. The set captures the typical appearance of the flying personnel of this period and suits aircraft of the Eastern Front from the same years.
Clean the flash and sprue stubs off the figures carefully and glue them with super glue or a modeling cement. For painting the skin and the uniforms, acrylics finished with oils or washes work well, as they bring out the folds of the clothing and the features of the face. Working from darker tones toward lighter ones gives the figures depth.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
