ICM 1:35 2cm Flak 38 is a plastic kit of the German 20 mm anti-aircraft gun of the Second World War period in 1:35 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
A new injection-molded plastic kit of the light German anti-aircraft gun of 20 mm caliber in 1:35 scale. The model faithfully captures the barrel, the aiming mechanism, the gunner's seat and the folding mount, so it can be built in the firing as well as the transport position. Suitable as an exhibit in its own right as well as the dominant feature of a diorama.
The 2cm Flak 38 gun was among the most widespread light anti-aircraft weapons of the Wehrmacht and the Luftwaffe. It served for defense against low-flying aircraft, but it was commonly used against ground targets as well. Thanks to its high rate of fire and low weight it was deployed on every front, whether on a wheeled trailer, on the cargo bed of trucks, or in fixed positions.
Glue the parts with thin modeling cement for plastic and sand the fine seams down. Before painting, apply a primer; an airbrush is ideal for even coverage. A realistic look will be given by color modulation, a dark wash into the recesses and a dry brush on the edges. Dust and mud pigments on the lower part of the mount will tune the period patina.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
