Responsibility details are not available.
A plastic kit of the German improvised self-propelled anti-tank weapon in 1:35 scale from Riich Models. The subject is a captured British tracked carrier on which the Germans mounted a 3.7 cm anti-tank gun. It is a new mold and it follows on from an earlier rendition of the same chassis with a different weapon.
After the fall of France the German army was left with hundreds of British tracked carriers, which could be converted easily. One of the answers was to mount a 3.7 cm anti-tank gun in the body, a weapon that quickly became obsolete against armored targets but on a light and nimble chassis still served to support infantry. The vehicles were given their own captured-equipment designation and were used mainly by second-line and training units in the west.
The open body means the interior will not be hidden: finish and paint it before you close up the sides. Assemble and paint the running gear separately. Build the barrel and the gun shield as one unit and fit them last. A gray or dark yellow finish is brought to life by fine chipping on the edges and a dust effect around the running gear.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
