1:35 Armoured skirt Phanter G/Jagdpanther (tamiya)

Armored side skirts (Schürzen) for the Panther Ausf.G / Jagdpanther (1:35, Royal Model)

This photo-etched set from Royal Model replaces the side armor screens (Schürzen) on models of the German Panther Ausf.G and Jagdpanther vehicles in 1:35 scale. It is not a model of a vehicle but a detail accessory in photo-etch that gives the skirts a realistically thin material thickness that plastic parts cannot reach.

What the set is for

• Replacing thicker plastic skirts with thin photo-etched ones
• A realistic look of bent or damaged screens
• Faithful Schürzen hangers and brackets
• Raising the overall level of detail on the vehicle

Use

Separate the photo-etched parts from the fret carefully and make the bends over a bending tool or a straight edge. Glue with super glue (cyanoacrylate). You will achieve a realistic impression by bending or nicking the individual screens slightly and then weathering them with rust and mud.

Who the set is for

• Modelers building the Panther Ausf.G or the Jagdpanther in 1:35
• Those who want thin, realistic side screens
• More advanced modelers used to working with photo-etch

This is an accessory. The model of the vehicle, paints and glue are not included in the package.
