An injection-molded plastic kit of a German command vehicle built on the chassis of the captured French Renault R35 tank, in 1:35 scale from Hobby Boss. The model captures the hull, the modified superstructure of the command version and the running gear. Photo-etched parts are usually included. It is assembled and painted by the modeler.
The Renault R35 was a French light infantry tank of the second half of the 1930s. After 1940 Germany took a large number of captured vehicles into service under the designation Pz.Kpfw. 35 R 731(f). Some of them were converted into command vehicles with a modified superstructure and extended signals equipment in place of the original turret with its gun.
Finish the running gear and the lower hull before going further with the assembly. Thin plastic cement is the answer for the plastic and cyanoacrylate for the photo-etched parts. Spray over a primer with an airbrush; gray and yellow shades suit German captured vehicles. Round the weathering and the dust off with washes and pigments.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
