Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic diorama set in 1:35 scale from ICM depicting a radiation monitoring station. The box contains a command and staff vehicle on a ZiL chassis, a set of figures, elements of the checkpoint and a base with a printed backdrop, which together make it possible to build a complete scene. Check the exact package contents against the manufacturer's part number for this item.
The set factually depicts a monitoring and checkpoint station set up in connection with the accident at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant. Its basis is a mobile command and staff vehicle derived from a ZiL truck and fitted out as a mobile workplace. Vehicles of this kind served as control and communications centers in the field; in this context they represent an element for monitoring the radiation situation.
Glue the parts with liquid cement for plastic; glue the glazing carefully with cement for clear parts. Paint the running gear and the interior of the vehicle before you close the body. Assemble and paint the figures separately. Match the base and the backdrop in color with the vehicle; after the base color, emphasize the details with a wash and add dust and dirt with pigments so that the whole scene comes across convincingly.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
