An injection-molded plastic kit capturing a scene from a Ukrainian engineer unit in the summer of 2022, in 1:35 scale from the Ukrainian brand ICM. The set combines the ZiL-131 truck with a figure of the driver, anti-tank mines, three figures of engineers and a figure of a dog trained to search for mines. It is a combined set of a vehicle and figures for building a scene.
The ZiL-131 is a tough Soviet and post-Soviet truck with drive to all wheels, widely used by military and auxiliary services. Engineer units use it among other things when clearing mines from the ground. The set refers to the work of Ukrainian forces in securing and marking mined areas.
Finish the chassis and the cab of the vehicle before closing the body up. The figures offer room to practice painting uniforms and faces; diorama builders will appreciate the dog. A base color, spraying with an airbrush and emphasis with a wash and pigments for dust and mud effects are recommended.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
